Ping pong balls are made of nitrocellulose, I am sure that many would like to create non-nitro based balls, but industry has never been able to create ping ping balls with the same bounce as the nitrocellulose based balls.

Now, while extracting nitro from ping pong balls is easy, the nitrocellulose is adulterated with camphor. This turns the explosive potential of the balls down while making them more plastic.

Now, while I like to extract the nitrocellulose to make nitrocellulose lacquer for making e-matches (electric ingitators) for my rockets, woodworkers have long used nitrocellulose lacquer for fine furniture and musical instruments.

To make the lacquer and extract the nitro from ping pong balls all you need are:Ping pong balls, acetone, scissors, a wooden stir stick, and a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.

Simply cut up 4 or 5 balls, and cover them with twice as much acetone as you need to cover the balls.

Let sit overnight.

I like to add in some double based (smokeless) gunpowder that I save from my mistakes while reloading because it gives me a hotter flame for igniting my model rockets, and it allows me to waste less powder when reloading.

I haven’t written much on End Time, or biblical referenced material in quite a while. My recent focus has been technical and prepping. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been reading up on it.

Interestingly, a year ago I had sat with a friend for coffee. We were discussing end-times, and speculating how it will all unfold.

I was providing him my take on the mark of the beast. During discussion, I pointed out if the mark is  tattoo or some form of embedded chip, the individual could remove or cut it out. The bible clearly states if one takes this mark of the beast, there is no redemption.

Revelation 14: 9-11

Doom for Worshipers of the Beast

9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone  worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

11 “And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

This is an indication, once it’s done, there is no turning back. A very dire warning indeed. So if someone has a tattoo, remove it. If someone has a RFID chip, cut it out.

However, if the person’s DNA makeup is altered or changed (think GMO), then the individual would not be able to reverse it.  Let that sink in for a moment.

So why would someone alter their body, via genetics?  Transhumanism.

Transhumanism is defined as,

“The belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology.”

We are already aware of science and technology manipulating plants and animals. A simple search provides immediate results showing Cows providing human milk and Cows with human dna. The leap to modify humans themselves, is not a far leap.

Back to the conversation with my friend.

While he thought it was interesting, I couldn’t help but wonder, if he thought I was really out there, mentally. This was last year.

This weekend, I came across Rob Skiba’s video titled, ” Parasitic Mind Control and the Mark of the Beast”.

It seems I wasn’t the only one thinking along these lines. Do we really know how this will all unfold? No. However, I really believe we are in the last days and the world will end as we know it.  Are we ready?

The title is: Cheap chicken feeder, how to build a bulk chicken/poultry feeder, PT1..

Had a friend come around & we built a chook feeder each of varying sizes.. It was a really easy build only requiring the drum & the flanged elbow.. The only tools needed were a marking pen, ruler, hacksaw, & a 95mm hole saw but other methods could be used to cut out the hole..
The build itself took all of 10 minutes to make, it was that easy & cost about $20AU/US.. Will make the job of feeding the Chooks so much easier as the drum will easily take a whole 25kg/55lb bag..

****Found a supplier in the United States/North America for anyone that is having problems sourcing the 90°Flange..

Had a few issues with a messy eater spilling grain out from the feeder so have come up with a fix that is REALLY cheap & easy… Can be added during or after the build..

Nailing down the top 5 best skills sites for the prepper is difficult. There are a plethora of information given in multiple platforms. How does one identify one distinct site for providing the skills to survive and thrive?

I will attempt to do so in this article.
When I consider the basic skills to live off-grid, couple of common things come in mind.
1) Gardening to replenish your vitamen food source
2) Alternative health, to not rely on popping the pill bottle
3) Livestock to replenish the protein food source
4) How did our forefathers thrive without Google, the lost knowledge of craft

Gardening
Let’s look at gardening. When I think of gardening, I am looking for the method to produce an abundant amount of food as efficiently as possible. My wife would lean toward aesthetic. In my search for site(s) on the who too aspect, I tried to weed out the flowers and sellers. Admittedly, there are some sellers that have good articles on how to garden.
I came across a really good YouTube channel by Gary Pilarchik: His websiteis dedicated to Vegetable gardening. Gary’s site along with Growing Your Greens you should be covered.
Personally, I like the videos over articles, since I am a visual learner.

Alternative health
My first instinct is to look to The Patriot Nurse She has awesome content with health and how to combat issues, in a grid down scenario.
But what about those herbs our grand or great-grandparents used? There is an interesting site called Self Healing Herbs providing old remedies our ancestors used.
I would also point out Herbal Transitions has a good list of common name herbs and their uses. You should check them out as well.

Spiritual hoodoo aside, Harmonic Arts Botanical Dispensary provides interesting educating videos covering medicinal herbs.
Livestock
While we can buy freeze dried or box supplies of food, a replenishment of healthy livestock is more ideal. Depending on your available landscape, the kind of livestock will vary. I will focus on the smaller livestock, for those urban dwellers desiring to acquire home grown protein.

The top three contenders are
• Chickens
• Rabbits
• Goats

Chickens
Chickens can be raised solely for their egg production, as meat, or both.
Backyard Chickens is a good site covering the chicken information as well as Alamanac.com.
Country Farm also has a really good page covering chickens.

Rabbits

Rabbits have become a staple for the homesteader, due to it being simple, require little attention and provide meat. I would also add Rabbit manure is great for your garden.
A good primer can be found here.

Goats
I have noticed those raising goats for meat have a larger area of landscape, where those in smaller areas raise them for milk.
Free Range Life has a good guide in goat breeds. Goat World is a full blown site dedicated in everything about goats.

Lost Skills

As we read this article on the WEB, it is difficult to consider the first website went online in December 1990. Less than 26 years ago.

While we can acquire pretty much any knowledge online, we have lost are abilities in how to cope life without electricity, and the benefits of electronics.

“The SHTF we all prep for is what folks 150 years ago called daily life.” Claude Davis.

Before the grid goes down, I suggest the Survivor Library site. It provides a good arsenal of free files online covering everything from accounting, embalming to wood-carving and welding.
Need a list of skills to look into?

Ancestry provides 11 skills our grandparents had in their daily life.
Those 11 skills mentioned are:
Courting
Hunting, Fishing, Foraging
Butchering
Bartering
Haggling
Darning and Mending
Corresponding by Mail
Lighting a fire without matches
Diapering with a cloth
Writing with a fountain pen

Other lost skills mentioned in other articles are knitting, using a compass, and handwriting.

Recall in 2013 with the discussion of public schools no longer teaching our kids to write in cursive.

I suggest checking out The Modern Farmer and The City Edition article on country skills.

Final Thoughts

While I couldn’t really find five specific sites to encompass everything I was thinking, there is a slew of information out there to be had. I highly suggest getting that information now, while it remains available. Acquire it, print it out, and make your own personal library.
